Most good candidates do not lose because they lack ability. They lose because they explain their experience badly. We are building the product that fixes that.
The product is live. Users are completing profiles, scoring themselves against roles, generating tailored applications, and coming back for multiple job searches. The next bottleneck is distribution.
We are looking for the person who can turn early usage into a real growth engine.
The role
This is not a normal salaried role. It is a founding-team opportunity with revenue share and equity. There is no fixed salary at this stage. If the work and fit are strong, the GTM co-founder path is on the table. You will own GTM from zero to one. You will not inherit a playbook. You will build it.
Why this role
In the first 6 months, success looks like one repeatable acquisition channel, clear funnel and conversion metrics, first paid customer segments defined, early partnerships live, pricing and packaging tested with real users, and a GTM motion we can start scaling. You will be treated as the owner of growth, not as support for the founders. You will be involved in product, pricing, positioning, and commercial decisions. This is not a good fit if you need a fixed salary from day one, prefer clear instructions, or want to execute an existing playbook. It is also not a good fit if you only want to do strategy. At this stage, GTM means writing the copy, sending the emails, speaking to users, checking the numbers, and shipping the next experiment. The ideal person is early in their career but unusually hungry, sharp with words, comfortable with numbers, and wants to compress 3 years of startup learning into 6 to 12 months.
What you'll do
01Talk to users, run demos, close early customers, and learn what people actually pay for
02Test acquisition channels: SEO, content, partnerships, outbound, paid, communities, or anything else that moves the number
03Run growth experiments end to end: hypothesis, campaign, landing page, measurement, decision
04Write user-facing copy: landing pages, outbound emails, social posts, onboarding flows, and sales material
05Build early partnerships with career coaches, bootcamps, outplacement firms, recruiters, and professional communities
06Test pricing and packaging based on real willingness to pay
07Set up the basic dashboards that show what is working and what is not
What we're looking for
011 to 5 years in growth, marketing, sales, GTM, product, or startup work
02You have shipped something yourself: a campaign, side project, landing page, newsletter, community, sales motion, or growth experiment
03You write clearly and can explain ideas without corporate language
04You are comfortable with messy early-stage work
05You can speak to users, write copy, look at numbers, and ship small experiments without waiting for permission
06You want founder-level ownership before you have a founder-level CV
07You are comfortable with upside-based compensation instead of a fixed salary
08Bonus: SEO, content, consumer subscription, career tech, community, or recruiting experience
